DESCRIPTION:Walk-Ins welcome or sign up for a time slot here! \nOrrville Community Theater Rising Stars announce sign up/auditions for our Rising Stars Workshop “Christmas Shorts” (by Lucy Williams\, Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service\, Inc.\, Englewood\, Colorado) \nDirected by Chelsea Alleman\, auditions\, for ages 5-18\, will be held at Accord Care Community in the Community Center (1980 Lynn Dr Orrville) on Friday\, September 30\, 2022 from 6-9pm and Saturday\, October 1\, 2022 from 1030am-230pm. \nCost will be $40 for first child in family and $35 for each additional child in same family. \nWorkshop will also be held at Accord Community Center on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Schedule to be finalized before auditions! \nThe Rising Star Show will be held at Orrville High School auditorium on Dec 2-4\, 2022. \nChristmas Shorts\nYou’ll find everything here\, from kids writing letters to Santa\, to the big guy getting ready for Christmas himself\, to a bunch of elves who accidentally rip Santa’s gift bag at the last minute. (Don’t worry\, Mrs. Claus can fix it!) There’s a sports segment featuring the 845th annual Reindeer Games and a holiday quiz show featuring Scrooge\, Tiny Tim\, and the Ghost of Christmas Future. A soap opera\, As the North Pole Turns\, a news segment from the North Pole News\, and some Christmas-themed commercials round out this fun seasonal comedy.
