Orrville Community Theater Rising Stars announce sign up/auditions for our Rising Stars Workshop “Christmas Shorts” (by Lucy Williams, Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado)

Directed by Chelsea Alleman, auditions, for ages 5-18, will be held at Accord Care Community in the Community Center (1980 Lynn Dr Orrville) on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6-9pm and Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1030am-230pm.

Cost will be $40 for first child in family and $35 for each additional child in same family.

Workshop will also be held at Accord Community Center on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Schedule to be finalized before auditions!

The Rising Star Show will be held at Orrville High School auditorium on Dec 2-4, 2022.

Christmas Shorts
You’ll find everything here, from kids writing letters to Santa, to the big guy getting ready for Christmas himself, to a bunch of elves who accidentally rip Santa’s gift bag at the last minute. (Don’t worry, Mrs. Claus can fix it!) There’s a sports segment featuring the 845th annual Reindeer Games and a holiday quiz show featuring Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghost of Christmas Future. A soap opera, As the North Pole Turns, a news segment from the North Pole News, and some Christmas-themed commercials round out this fun seasonal comedy.
